Jack Devine is the Principal Partner of Artists Circle Fine Art. For the past 25 years, Jack has been providing artwork and art services to thousands of clients both in the US and abroad. His understanding and appreciation of art began in college when he took courses at the Maryland Institute of Art as part of his B.A. degree from Loyola College in Baltimore. Jack is known for his ability to work with both corporate clients and artists in providing creative and sophisticated art solutions. Jack is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). He is also President of the Montgomery County Historical Society (June 2008).
Jack and his wife Joanna Devine have four children and live in Potomac, Maryland.
Being in the business of art for 40 years, Sharon brings a wealth of experience and appreciation of art to Artists Circle. She is a past board member of the James Renwick Alliance (1998-2003) and Juror for the American Craft Council. She is currently a member of the Board of The Nature Conservancy – MD/DC Chapter and a member of the Board of the Audubon Naturalist Society. This year, Sharon has facilitated artwork acquisition for internationally recognized law firm Foley Hoag and developed Artists Circle’s first publicly accessible art show, featuring the works of New Mexico artist John Garrett. Sharon lives with her husband, Bob, in Potomac, Maryland. When she’s not at Artists Circle, Sharon spends a good deal of time with her grandchildren or travelling to artist’s studios and galleries around the world.
Katie graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a B.A. in Studio Arts and recognition as a St. Mary’s Scholar. Her role at Artists Circle is to keep track of all projects and details, including communications between the client and artist, timeframes, and scheduling installations and installation equipment. A selection of Katie’s recently completed projects include: the acquisition and installation of satellite photographs furnished from the United States Geological Survey for Booz Allen Hamilton and Washington Real Estate Investment Trust’s acquisition of a painting for a newly renovated lobby in Silver Spring. Katie is an avid outdoorswoman, enjoying hiking and training her dogs, Kobie and Layla. She is also a photographer and freelance graphic designer. She lives in Mt.Airy, Maryland.
Jim graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Physics. His tech-savvy know-how allows us to present options to clients electronically. Jim also assists us in researching new artwork and coordinating project details with our vendors. In his spare time, Jim enjoys writing, recording, and playing music. He lives in Germantown, Maryland.
Clifford has over 25 years of experience installing artwork. As a seasoned installer, Clifford is a terrific problem solver and very efficient worker. When he’s not installing artwork, Clifford is sure to be found with a camera in his hands. During the warmer months, he conducts photography workshops in Maine. Clifford’s home is in Alexandria, Virginia.
Stephanie worked at Artists Circle for five years as our Office Manager and Project Assistant. Currently pursuing a career in Property Management – with 17 different properties to oversee – Stephanie also helps Artists Circle stay on top of the details for special projects. Most recently, Stephanie coordinated a crew of installers for a large installation at the Navy Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys volunteering for various non-profits, painting, and creating jewelry. She lives in Fairfax, Virginia.
